What is the vector graphics? What is the difference between the the pixel files and vector graphics?

The vector graphics or geometrrical modeling is a computer graphical process in the course of it we use geometrics drawing units – for example points, lines, curves and polygons – use to define the figures.
The figures are generally closed polygons which have well defined filling in (RGB/CMYK/HKS/PANTONE, etc).

The pixel picture files use unit picture points (pixel) to describe the picture contents. Colour, brightness, saturation values can belongs to the pixels which clearly determine the picture result. The resolution is one determining factor of the picture visualizing. The resulation shows how many points are on one square inch.

What kind of files can we accept?

Picture pixel files:
psd – Photoshop layer files
bmp – bitmap picture file
emf – vectorgraphic picture file
gif – bitmap picture file
gif89a – bitmap picture file
jpe – bitmap picture file
jpg – bitmap picture file
jpeg – bitmap picture file
png – bitmap picture file
svg – vectorgraphic picture file
svgz – packed vectorgraphic picture file
tif – high quality bitmap file
tiff - – high quality bitmap file
wmf – Windows metafile

Vectorgraphic files:
cdr – CorelDRAW file
ai – Adobe Illustrator
fh - FreeHand

CAD/CAM files
dxf – Autodesk CAD
dwg – Autodesk CAD

Mixed files (vector/pixel)
eps, ps – Postscript
pdf – Portable Document Format

Text files
doc, docx – MS Word
rtf – edited text
odt, ood – IBM Lotus text files
txt – simple text file

What do we consider as a finished material?

- It has the ahead defined run-out and was prepared by respect of the media width and lenght parameters
- The embedded bitmap is 4C format and qualitatively, resolutionally pass to the accomplished material
- It does not include dependent embedded effects, active/passive scripts
- It does not include fonts
- Overprint of all objects was checked

By the pixelgraphics file we have to check especially
- resolution and size of the finished file
- GAMUT (colour range analysis)
- is not allowed embedded front-layer by psd files
- embedded ICC/ICM colour profiles

Checking of CAD/CAM files
- polyline control of DXF/DWG files avoid the arch problems by conversion

The checkings above we execute free of charge. If the files are not suitable we charge editing cost.
